{"id":3328,"date":"2011-09-11T09:01:15","date_gmt":"2011-09-11T14:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.astroblastro.com\/?p=3328"},"modified":"2011-09-13T09:17:42","modified_gmt":"2011-09-13T14:17:42","slug":"unreasonably-good-doughnuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/astroblastro.com\/?p=3328","title":{"rendered":"Unreasonably Good Donuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sara guided us to the waterfront yesterday afternoon to visit Williamsburg&#8217;s weekly flea market-style food fair <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brooklynflea.com\/smorgasburg\/\">Smorgasburg.<\/a> There were lots of tempting food stands, each one filling a very specific gourmet niche.\u00a0 Out of all there was to offer we sampled mole tempeh tamales and smooth Basque gazpacho from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.txikitonyc.com\/\">Txikito<\/a>, but the best in show were the killer donuts from <a href=\"http:\/\/foodcurated.com\/2011\/03\/dough-donuts-a-far-cry-from-the-old-fashioned\/\">DOUGH, a donut only bakery on Fanklin Avenue.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We ordered one <em>cafe au lait<\/em>, one toasted coconut, and one candied blood orange for us grown ups and Bannack got a dollar&#8217;s worth of cinnamon sugar donut holes.
