A fabulous dinner out for our first night. With a world of cuisine open to us we collectively chose Mexican. (50% proximity, 50% we were starving.) TACocina on 9th had great veggie food and 2 for 1 margaritas. The bill for 8? +$300!

#1 most anticipated album of 2010: the promised upcoming release by The Books. I saw them live a few weeks ago in Seattle and they mentioned an upcoming release and played a couple of songs off of it. They were all very good, maybe not as good as the stuff on their previous album from back in 2005 Lost and Safe, but still totally solid.
And in case you haven’t heard The Books, the above clip is one of my favorite tracks from Lost and Safe called Smells Like Content.
Hamlet (Brian Ferriter) and Laertes (Ryan Pfeiffer) practice their increasingly energetic sword dual for in Act V of Brian’s production of Hamlet at Carroll College. It’s his senior project and it opens February 5th.
