Sunday Dinner

As many times as we can, we go to my parents house on Sunday for dinner. This week was a really special one.

Chris made a batch of home made beer with constant input from Jackson who stayed uncommonly calm.

Of course this Sunday dinner was another opportunity to see Bannack who is getting more charming every day.

Best of all though—topping even the green lazer—was the incredible Indian food my mother made. It was really really good. Lucky me, I got to take some left overs home.

A Night Out With Bannack

Sara and Chris took Bannack out to Reilly’s last night to hear live music; they invited us along! Lynn Marie & the Wobblyboy were playing, and even played a song for Bannack.
McK got to catch up with Esther and Jen and I stole Bannack away and watched him sleep.

Signs Now Open House

IMG_6402IMG_6417Signs Now

Former Allegra employees AJ and Trevor opened a sign shop in downtown Helena, the imperative Signs Now . They hosted an open house this weekend and let everyone take a look around. Free mustaches were on offer in many styles. I couldn’t get mine to pose properly for a photo.

The machine in the foreground of the topmost photo is a flatbed cutter-outter (the real name escapes me) going to work on some foam core takeaways.

American Museum of Natural History: Part 1

There were lot’s of awesome taxidermied animals at the AMNH all up on the wall. Almost like a butterfly mounted display!

But by far the best was the coelacanth. It’s huge!

There was one fish that was cooler than the coelacanth, this is the Wolftrap Angler. It would be my favorite but it looks made up by a creative/bored model maker.
