One of my favorite blog authors posted the final entry to his LiveJournal account today. The inspired musician and artist who calls himself Momus (after the Greek god of mockery and satire and overly mean criticism) announced earlier this year that he had planned to call it quits on the eve of his 50th birthday and today was it. He’s been blogging in one way or another for over a decade and I’ve been reading his LiveJournal since it opened in 2004. (Matt Brehe told me about him, I think.) The subject of his daily essays range widely but have mostly to do with culture, art, or Momus himself. Often it’s a combination of all three.
